His hair is thick and wavy (so it didn't need to be as perfect as fine straight baby hair), and he always sat still for me. When we did take him, we took him to an actual salon because I knew he would sit still.</p> <p>As for DS2, he hasn't had a haircut yet, though he needs one. There is no way he's sitting still for it though, so I'm not sure what we are going to do. He sat on my lap and was the picture of perfection. That was the only time though, as he had no idea what was going on. Now it's so bad I have to cut it myself. It really really needed it. I went to a place that does kids cuts. And just told the guy to clean it up. He was shaggy, but I dont think there was much option on what to do. It took all of 8-10 minutes which was what was really important. She doesn't have a lot of hair but she has this one lonnng piece of bang that we constantly have to clip back. Did you go in with an idea of what you wanted?</p> <p>DS is 13 months old, and he's got a baby mullet going on, so I think it's time to bite the bullet. Should I be looking up hair inspiration pictures for 1 year olds, or would it be enough to go in and ask for the stylist to just trim it up? </p>
