We tried the laid back position but that didn't ever take. Now, at almost 6 months, my favorite is just cradle and laying down (at night). It was the only way I could get her to latch on when it didn't hurt. I usually only did it on the couch, thus during the day. </p> <p>I read what Mrs. Bee said and honestly, I never had a problem being tired when feeding M. It wasn't easy for me, so I stayed wide awake when feeding her. No chance of falling asleep.
