Yes, although I am very short with not so skinny calves, so I got the kids tall version (which is wider and shorter than the adult tall, but taller than the adult short). I like them alot and bonus was that they were cheaper than the adult version.

I have some of the tall ones. They sit in my closet and I never wear them. I do find them to be heavy and clunky...my mom has a pair of tall rainboots that she got at a farm and tractor supply store and they are SOO much lighter and more flexible and more comfortable. And they are plain tall, black boots.

I think people mainly get Hunters for the cache of the name I guess.

@rattles: I had the same issue with the buckle breaking after 3 weeks of use. Annoying!

I like them and they do the trick, but a nice pair of duck boots is a good alternative.

Yes definitely! In the winter (I live in Chicago) I wear them as snow boots with thick boot socks. Way better than any other rubber boots I've ever had. I have thick calves so I bought the "Huntress" version.

I have the short ones because there is no way my calves ( which fit perfectly fine in other tall boots ) would fit in the tall ones. Also a word of warning - I have high arches and getting them on and off is horrible. That being said I love the boots when they are on and have had no leaking or cracking

I'm ambivalent about mine. They are great at keeping you from getting wet but I find them to be pretty clunky, for lack of a better word. Maybe it's because I have smallish calves? They get uncomfortable if I wear them for too long. I sort of wish I had some LL Bean duck boots since they are lower profile.

I just bought a pair of my friends yesterday. Her calves didn't fit well in them so they had only been worn a couple times. She sold them to me for $40!

I wore them for the day and they're pretty comfy and cute. I wouldn't pay full price for them though - they aren't $140 comfy.

I have a pair of tall Hunters and I hate them. The "tread" on the bottom looks impressive but is pretty useless -- I didn't realize how bad until I slipped on some black ice and fractured my arm. It really only grips on grass/mud and dry pavement, I find the boots are too slippery to wear even on wet pavement, which defeats the whole purpose of rain boots. And my calves aren't huge, but I still can't tuck any pants other than skinny jeans inside. You'd need reeeealy skinny calves to be able to do that. I was excited when I got my Hunters but I totally regret it and definitely wouldn't get another pair.

Yes. 3 pairs. Not really necessary for SoCal, but so fun when we get to wear them! I've had them for years, used for travel, and they still look great. That being said, I've had Tretorns before that cracked and leaked water. Had them on a trip to Seattle and promptly chucked them since they were useless. And not nearly as warm and comfy as Hunters.

Yes. I like them and they're classic. The actual boot part hasn't leaked, and I've had them for 5 years. That said, the buckle (more specifically, the rubber where the strap attaches to the boot) on mine broke within the first two months I owned them. For the price, that's unimpressive.
