I know that where I live, if we have a really mild streak in our winter, the flu is way more vicious. The older people swear the cold weather kills the germs. The cold doesn't seem to bother him, so sometimes I don't force a jacket on him when he refuses. My mother thinks cold temperatures can compromise your immune system and makes you more susceptible to getting sick, which is much improved than when she believed you can catch a cold by being out in the cold. =P What is your take on this? Should I force my LO to wear a jacket more often then? </p>
