I'm relieved to know that the retained tissue was all gone and there doesn't appear to be any scarring or anything. So it looks like this is a fluke and not tied to the D&amp;C in March. That knowledge really helps me because I guess it confirms that there truly isn't anything I could have done to avoid this. Keep in mind though that you are comparing dry and wet HPTs (Dry will fade over days) so there may be a bit more progression than meets the eye. If you are having an implantation bleed, it may take 2-4 days for HCG to show up on an HPT (it has to process through the kidneys) and then 48-72 hours doubling time for your HPT to substantially darken. If you are pregnant, you still have plenty of time for a BFP. For the past two days I’ve had mild cramps that feel like a light version of AF cramps. The internet was very encouraging that this could be implantation cramps. I started spotting this morning, pink/light brown and which seems great for implantation bleeding except there were a few small clots. Dr google suggests this should not happen. I do usually spot a day or 2 before AF but have a solid 13 day LP so that’s be weird. I guess I’m wondering if anyone has any experience or insight.</p> <p>One possible complication is this is my 3rd cycle after a D&amp;C which did have retained tissue. So for the first 2 months I had chronic spotting with clots just like this during that time. But after I got my first AF I haven’t had anything like it since.
