I am an artist/illustrator so it is important to get my work out, and art directors of big brands do find their artists that way. I have gotten a couple of clients because of instagram. I really don't like having to keep up with social media, but unfortunately that the trade of my business... It is a good thing that it is pretty quick and easy to use :-)</p> <p>I also use the same account to follow my son's school / class too, as they have a private page which they only accept moms and people they know. Every once in awhile I will share one of my Instagram posts on Facebook, but pretty rarely. I use instagram to post a lot of pictures of my kids and what we've been up to. And then have it connected to Chatbooks and the photo books are automatically printed. I get two copies of every book and put them in my boy's memory boxes. My Facebook has too many "friends" so I kept my instagram account very small to mostly immediate family and close friends. That way I feel more comfortable (and less annoying) plastering all my kid pictures there. I like it bc I totally limited my friends and can scroll really quickly through everything, not much reading, just a bunch of images and likes. :)<br /> Look out: there is a way to check other people's likes. So don't like random stuff unless you don't care who sees it. I've been spammed this way too. I liked a public post and voila--spam! Also if you report someone's offensive Spam -which I did- it takes about a month or more for IG to respond and send you a 'thank you' note.<br /> I just heard they are rolling out an archive feature where you can 'hide' a previous photo from your audience. If you want a private photo account for LO, you can do that. I just think it would be fun to follow along with some women that I can relate to with ttc right now! :) I don't really want to post anything related to any of that on my current account haha </p>
