All of those emails were dumped into a database, and manually reviewed by an army of paralegals... I and my family had emailed personal stuff to his work email, so all of that stuff was in there. Awesome.</p> <p>Years later I got sued and had to voluntarily turned over any email and/or saved chat that might even be tangentially related to the matter at hand. Again, a lot of very personal material ended up going into discovery.</p> <p>Now I save almost nothing.
