I went the moment the doors opened for 1st time parents (which is on day 1 but like 3 hours after the Volunteer sale begins), and by the time I got there, people were already leaving with car loads!! The selection is large, especially clothes. A lot of the good gear and big toys go this first night. There is usually a selection of newer quality items at good prices (50-70% off retail). Stuff is the most organized because it just opened up but lines are often long. No way I will take my kid. </p> <p>Thursday - General public - Still a good selection, pretty organized. May be able to find a small selection of gear to choose from. Still a very good selection of toys, books, clothes. Wouldn't be that big of a deal to take your kid. </p> <p>Friday/Saturday - General Public - Selection gets really low (especially by Saturday morning). The good stuff (high quality/low price) is gone. Stuff gets unorganized as kids and consignors throw stuff around. </p> <p>Sunday - Half price sale. Hardly any toys/gear left, lots of clothes left. This is when I really try to find just any good deals but I'm not really shopping for anything specific. There were tons of toys and clothes and not that much gear (or maybe it had all sold out?)</p> <p>The condition of toys ranged from well used (and dirty) to gently used. I guess I was expecting it to be mostly gently used and more organized. I think the organizers had maybe originally grouped similar toys together but by the time I went, toys were everywhere including tons on the floor. We weren't looking for clothes so I just peeked at the giant rack in my LOs size and didn't pick out anything.</p> <p>I only managed to find 2 toys to take home. I really wanted a jumperoo but there were only 2 and they didn't look like they were in great condition.
