I am pretty sure lo is teething. Sleep is terrible and he is a drool machine so maybe that's it. Maybe it will get better once the new teeth come in.

@truth bombs Ive had thrush and that hurt in a similar but different way. Good suggestion. I've been on the look out for other signs of thrush just in case.

For me it was always the tell tale sign when I could feel their teeth that my LOs were cutting new teeth.

Dd never bite me, although I think describing it as toothy is perfect. At 13 months I don't really notice it anymore though. I'm not sure if I've just gotten used to it or if she's figured it our.

I think your LO just has to get used to the teeth and adjust their latch naturally. There's not much that you can do other than pulling them off and relatching. We'd go through phases where it would hurt on the left side a lot and then it would be fine. I ended up nursing 15 months and my LO had teeth from 5 months.

LO is almost 11 months and has had 7 teeth for a while now. We keep going through phases of me feeling his teeth while we nurse. He's not biting. His latch is toothy, if that makes sense. It's often one side and not the other, but switches. The things I did when he was little don't really work for a bigger baby. Suggestions for improving a latch on an older baby who has always fed well?

Thanks

Ouch...
