We were about to throw out this cycle because it was taking me so long to ovulate. I don't have much hope for it, as we were only able to try one day (fortunately the day I had a super dark almost black positive OPK). I agree with @shootingstar, though. All 3 times I've conceived, it's been between CD 29-33 (the first was a m/c). Ever since I got off the pill 3 years ago, my cycles have been around 45 days (so they're long, but "regular" in the sense that they stay around the same length). I think my body just takes longer to actually ovulate. I think it is possible to have delayed ovulation and have the egg be fine. I think if your cycle is kinda dormant for a while and then the egg matures in a typical timeframe (ie &lt;20 days) then it's fine. But if the egg maturation takes a long time, I think that's when the get over mature. </p> <p>I think if you've had 2 miscarriages your eggs are probably getting over mature :-(. I had this happen when I was seeing an RE a couple years ago.
