Our daycare doesn't send much email communication, and I'm only in one mom group, so I just use my main account. I second @Cole: 's suggestion to filter gmail. It's really easy to set up.

@Cole: I never knew that!!!! I know periods could be added but never thought of filtering. That's something to think about!!

I am not that organized but if you use gmail there are ways to use periods in your email address so that you can filter messages that way. So my husband used first.last@gmail for certain types of email, the same email without period for other things and f.irstlast for newsletter type things.

I use my personal email for LO's school. I also have a work email, which I use strictly for work and nothing else, as well as a junk email account.

So I'm kind of neurotic with email. I have my primary account that I use for real communication (friends, family, etc) and a separate account that I use when I sign up for things (online shopping, newsletters, HB, contacting random companies, etc)

This keeps my primary account nice and clean and when my phone dings I know it's something I'll actually want to read rather than junk.

SO my big question is how do you handle email with a LO? I'm thinking of making a third account to use for daycare (eventually school...), Mom groups, etc so I don't get tons of crap in my regular email but they don't get lost in the eleven billion shopping emails I get each day.

Does anyone else do that? Or am I just out of my mind?
