I am really sensitive to smells- like the cera-v lotion people love smells awful to me. I started using Working Hands lotion while I was pregnant and really like it a lot. I also use the cetaphil cream that comes in a tub. Neither really smell like anything to me and I can use them throughout the day.

I love all Acure products.

I've been using this lotion for hands and body https://www.grove.co/catalog/product/nourishing-body-lotion/?v=861&attrsrc=&attrpg=catalog

I'm really sensitive to scents and parabens and gluten ingredients, and it's been hard to find something that doesn't actually make my eczema worse. This stuff is great!

This one is unscented, but I think there's a lavender scent too.

I love the l’occitane lavender one. It goes on super light (I also can’t stand stuff on my hands), dries quickly and smell is nice but doesn’t last (it would bother me if it did so that’s a good thing to me). If you have their store near you they always have them out to try.

This has been my quest for so long! Also, I have periodically found ones I love (lots of C.O. Bigelow stuff, for example) but they have parabens and I'm trying to steer clear. I was just given a small tube of L'Occitane Amande Delicious Hands and I gotta say it might be my favorite lotion ever! And no parabens (though, the ingredient list has plenty of other stuff I don't recognize plus "fragrance", so maybe not that much better...but I just love it so much). It's a bit pricey. But it works so well. I have used other L'Occitane shea butter products and I find them a bit oily, but not this one.

Jenna Hipp hand cream is my holy grail. They used to sell it at Costco for cheap (and I'm hoping they have it this Christmas time), but if you can find it for more on Amazon or Ebay. Its rich and healing, but it has like some wax or something in it so it doesn't feel slimey or greasy once its applied. Also, it doesn't have any weird chemicals in it.

ETA here's the link:

https://www.amazon.com/Jenna-Hipp-Essential-Cream-Tubes/dp/B00GB5JT1E

It seems like a lot, but its 3 tubes and they last a long time.

Weirdly, I've been using my daughter's Aveeno Baby Eczema Therapy lotion and it seems to fit the bill. It's non-greasy but obviously very moisturizing. I just have the samples from her doctor but hopefully it's not too expensive for a full size?

I know I am totally showing my 33 year old age with this post :silly:  but I am in desperate need of a good hand cream! I hate ones that leave a film on my hands, I instantly have to wash them off because it drives me crazy. I can't STAND the feeling of dirty hands, yuck! The body lotion I use {Eucerin Professional Repair Rich Feel Lotion} works perfect for my legs and arms but is just too thick and slimy for my hands. I would love a hand lotion that I can put on multiple times a day, especially right after washing my hands, and would help with my cuticles and hang nails to boot!

Does anyone have a hand cream that they love?!? Every one I've tried is just wayyy too heavy or sticky. Would sincerely appreciate any and all tips!!

UPDATE: So I definitely think it was a bad reaction even if it is also eczema. After bath and I noticed she actually got a diaper rash (I think?) for the first time, I reverted back to the same stuff we've used since birth. BabyGanics soap and Coconut Oil slathered all over her body head to toe! I hadn't used any of the BabyGanics eczema cream on her back and her back was spotless. This morning her chest looked waaaaay better and the spots on her head are gone.

My guess would be eczema that has gotten inflamed due to the cream you put on it. My LO had an awful rash that looked like a mass of tiny red dots all over her neck that just got worse (meaning much redder and more bumps) when we put anything on it and dry and flaky when we left it alone. When we took her to the doctor for it, he said it was inflamed eczema and gave us a steroid prescription for it. That was the only thing that cleared it up.

Good luck!

I also think it's hard to tell. But when I tried Aquaphor (after my ped nurse friend kept recommending it for DD) it had gotten worse! My LO reacted so bad to Aquaphor! I wish I checked on a small part of her skin first (like her left leg or whatever) before putting it all over.

Did you try anything different, like using a different detergent?

rashes are so tough :( so hard to tell what's causing it and what is making it better or worse.

I have tried the babyganics cream as well as aveeno eczema cream and neither did anything. So we're sticking with aquaphor for now. I'm ready to call the pediatrician and ask what more we can do though. At the last check he said to just aggressively moisturize, but it doesn't seem to be doing much.

Yesterday I started to notice a few tiny red bumps here and there on K's head and chest. Her face also had noticeably rougher patches. So fearing dry skin or eczema (it runs in my family and I've had it my whole life), I used the BabyGanics Eczema Cream ALL OVER her. I read a lot of good comments about it on here and Amazon.

Well - this afternoon after I changed her, I noticed her ENTIRE chest is now covered in little bumps and red all in between! It's not like the kind of eczema I have. Her face and head appear to be the same as last night. I slathered her now in Baby Aquaphor.

Did anyone else have this kind of reaction to BabyGanics (or any other brand for that matter?) I'm wondering if it's a reaction to the cream OR if it's eczema or some other kind of rash getting worse and the cream didn't help?

Thanks!
