@MrsRcCar: That first real sentence is the best! So sweet.

I'm so proud of LO (14 months) because I've been working hard to get him to either hand me his cup or set it on the table instead of throwing it on the floor when finished. And saying please instead of yelling for something. He is doing both the past week!

Tonight, my eldest (3 next month) said to her little sister (13 months tomorrow) "I'll always take care of you." I'm proud of the friendship they're growing.

My LO rode her trike down to the end of the street yesterday. I had no idea she could stear but she kept herself on the sidewalk the whole way. I was also proud of myself for letting go of the handle attached to the trike.

Yesterday my daughter (2 years old) was playing quietly by herself while I was calming my son. After about 20 minutes, my daughter comes running over to me and says "mommy, come look". She had completed her 24 piece puzzle all by herself for the first time! We had done it probably 30 times together, so she was very familiar with the image, but had never done it completely by herself before.

Today was one of the best days we have had in a very long day in terms of milestones!

E is almost 13 months and finally took his first real steps today! You could see the pride just light up his face. He of course walked for grandma while I was in an appointment with N but I got to see it for myself after the appointment. Dh hasn't seen it yet.

N has been struggling so much with speech but today he said his first real sentence! The first sentence he decides to say was "I wub yew momee". Talk about heart warming.

Just thought I would share! Anyone else care to share their proud parent moment?
