The manual is just way more effective for me, and quiet and portable. I have arthritis on both of my wrists and I thought it would be too hard to use a manual pump, but needed a portable one for work. It was so easy to use and not hard on my wrists at all. I liked that it didnt have many parts and it's very afforble.
