We would build our dream home, take a huge trip with all our friends/families, and donate to charities close to our heart. Most would be saved and invested for the future generations. I'd take care of the important things first, then save the rest and live moderately off the interest.</p> <p>I know we'd splurge and start my parents winery and tasting room, I think to start up would be $2 million. I'd also give some to my grandparents, although they probably wouldn't take money, so I'd give them some things that they really need/want. Travel. Give a reasonable amount to my family. For family members who are bad with money, hire an accountant for them. Setup trust funds or college education for my neices and nephews. Donate some money to my school. I always joked that if I become rich, I want to have a building named after me. Oh, of course donate to other charities. With 540 million, I probably would have trouble spending half of it. Our next move would be to find a piece of land that we wanted to build our dream house one. We would design and build that while living somewhere fantastic....like in an ocean-front house. :) </p>
