Why should we pay more for them? And 30%, that's a huge difference, I am sure they are still earning tons from their market in the EU., so what profit margin do they have here? It's crazy.</p> <p>For the meds I needed, the cheapest pharmacy in the US (including a 25% discount from the Compassionate Care program) would have come up to 2900$;</p> <p>I ordered those meds from IVFmeds.com (out of London, I believe) and they cost me 1900$ including express shipment. So, you actually need to buy less pens than you think (since you can use that extra med). This was something that I wrote in another group: This has been my experience (I'm buying meds now for my 2nd round): follistim and ganirelex is cheapest at Winfertilty than anywhere (except out of US)! But menopur, gonal f, HCG/Novarel and others are cheaper at Freedom. I paid about $2,700 for my first round and will spend about the same on my 2nd round. Winfertiliyt will not give you individual pricing on their meds, but i was able to figure it out. $205 for 300IU. Keep in mind that each 300IU of Follistim actually has 420 IU. So, you can actually get less vials when considering the overfill. if you have specific questions, feel free to message me..i figured out some tricks to get the cost down </p> <p>Also, I would recommend buying the gonal F or follistim (these are interchangable, so buy which ever you can get the cheapest) in 300IU pens vs 900IU pens. You do this because each pen has the extra medication, so the more individual pens you have, the more "extra med" you have. That way, you can buy less pens and save $. For example, I think that I was prescribed 10 - 300 IU pens (3,000 IUs); however, since I bought in pens of 300 and knew that each pen actually had 420, I only needed to buy 7 or 8 pens. I was able to save quite a bit of $$ this way. It can be difficult to calculate, but I think that I purchased enough meds for 10 days.</p> <p>I would also suggest looking into overseas pharmacies. I ordered on Monday, 2/15 in the afternoon. They were out of ganirelix and sent me an email Monday night. I responded almost immediately to change the order. They shipped it out Wednesday/Thursday. If God forbid I need another round, I will use them again, but I will push the RE for my med list earlier so I don't stress about getting them in time.</p> <p>ETA: meds are same as in the US. Any differences are listed on their website and don't matter medically. The boxes are different. Menopur comes in packs of 10 and the vials of saline are slightly different but I like them better. The products are the exact same medically and any other differences are listed on the site. For example, Menopur has slightly different vials and they only sell in boxes of ten. They are a little slow responding to questions, 2-3 days, but are helpful when they respond. First order wasn't shipped for 3 days but arrived seven days after they shipped it. Tracking is slow, but seven days from Israel is good, especially since it was a week before Christmas. They sometimes are out of stock- first order, they were out of follistim 300 the first time I ordered, but had 600 or gonal f 300. Second order, they were out of ganirelix but had cetrotide. On the first order, one gonal f pen wasn't properly sealed and they offered to send me another, which would have been too late, so they refunded me. There isn't a place I've found that has great prices and great service. Service here is reasonable and prices are great, and two week arrival is guaranteed. Overall, the headaches are worth the savings IMO. I also considered ivf prescriptions.com but read the same review on multiple boards that made me feel a little uneasy. I've heard ivf meds takes longer than ivf pharmacy. For meds in the US, I usually use winfertility. Pregnyl, Zithromax, and estrace are cheaper from them than anywhere including Europe. When I needed to order follistim quickly, they overnighted it for $205. You have to purchase in a bundle (two different meds) but with estrace or Zithromax, it's still relatively cheap.
