@spaniellove: I'm 15 DPO. I have long luteal phases, usually 16-17 days. My cycles are about 31-32 days. I tested on Monday, 13DPO, BFN. I'm waiting it out before I test again. It's normal for me to spot before periods, but this cycle has been different because there was pink/red blood instead of just the usual brown spotting. My breasts/nipples are also still tender, which usually subsides by this point in my cycle. I'm sure I'm just reading too much into it!!

@LittleLashesToes: I want to say it was more pink or red than brown. That week I took a pregnancy test on Tuesday, it was a BFN and I think I started spotting Thursday or Friday. Friday was when I was convinced my period was coming. Then, Saturday night, I knew something wasn't right, because I should have had a much more blood, and took a test. I think my period was due that Friday, maybe that Saturday. I also CONTINUED spotting for awhile after. Now, that sweet little BFP is only two weeks away from his c-section! I hope that it all works out for you!!!

Spotting happens, and although scary, isn't an indication that anything is wrong. It is not implantation bleeding, however, since that would happen at the time of implantation and if you've had several positive tests then your little bean is already done with the implanting. If you have painful cramping and/or bright red AF like bleeding, then definitely call your doctor.

@Glitter: I've read that lots of people spot during their first trimester, especially when AF would have been due.

@littlelashestoes: I got my BFP last week after being sure I must be out. At 5 DPO I had red streaks in my CM. At 6 DPO I had bright red spotting, which continued on 7 DPO. At 8 DPO it was actually red bleeding (like a very light period day but more than spotting) and even some tissue and a small clot and I was so crushed that my LP must have shortened even more than usual. At 9 DPO the bleeding moved to more brownish lighter spotting. But I felt nauseated so took a HPT against all logic but it was stark negative.

The next day (10 DPO) I still had brownish spotting but also still had faint nausea, so took another HPT and got a faint BFP. The spotting stopped and hasn't come back yet (I'm 16 DPO today) and my HPTs have gotten darker and darker every day since (confirmed at my doctor's)--and the nausea has continued too!

I thought implantation bleeding couldn't be more than a streak of blood on one day, but I guess everyone's different!

Ok all of your posts have helped calm me down. Glad to know others experienced implantation bleeding late and still had successful pregnancies. Just took another test. Here's my BFP history at 10, 11 and 12 dpo.

Thanks ladies. I'm trying hard not to worry. This is my first pregnancy and we haven't told our parents yet - we're planning something special. So we have no one to call and ask questions. We're trying to get on to another doctor too.

I took two HPTs on dpo 10 and dpo 11. Both were positive. Normally AF would be due tomorrow. I just woke up to light brown blood. .. very little of it. Isn't this too late for implantation bleeding? What do you all think is happening? I'm getting a little freaked out. Please help.
