DH and I had a subscription when we first got married, but we mistakenly got the WalMart plan, got frustrated with it (only because we hate WalMart lol), and quit. Now that they offer a Paleo plan and there's a Groupon for it, I'm tempted to sign us back up! I HATE meal planning! I'm just terrible at it and we end up wasting a bunch of money on things we don't use. I think I'm going to convince him to give it another go :) Have you subscribed before?

If you're not familiar with it, it means I eat grain-free, dairy-free and legume-free (okay, I eat a little dairy, because I don't have any intolerance issues!). So it's definitely low carb. All the meals I posted above are paleo or have modifications to make them paleo (e.g. DH having real pasta and me having zucchini &#34;pasta). PM me if you have any questions - I have a ton of recipes saved :)

Once in a great while I'll go &#34;all out&#34; and make ribs, chilli, soups etc but that is not a common thing around here. Lack of money sorta puts a damper on making nice meals. We settle for frozen pizzas, canned soup, mac n cheese, chicken w veggie/roll, frozen stir fry or boxed casseroles...that's how we roll in this family :) My goal is to make a weekly meal plan and shop once a week and stick to it, making more home made foods with healthier choices.

&#60;p&#62;Note: “green salad” is a mix of multiple dark winter greens with tomato, goat cheese, cucumber or other veggies and olive oil/balsamic dressing.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Sockeye salmon filet with farro and green salad&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Roast meat (fish, pork or steak) with veggie (usually roasted: squash, asparagus, green beans, etc.) and green salad&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Spicy pasta (either olive oil and red pepper flakes or a red sauce with sausage and pancetta) and green salad&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Omelet with pesto, goat cheese and shrimp and green salad&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Homemade pizza and Caesar salad&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Cheesy polenta with mixed bean/onion/veggie salad (or another, similar vegetarian dish).&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Tacos: carne asada, chicken and spinach with tomatillo salsa, fish tacos with cabbage. All tacos have avocado (no cheese, sour cream, etc. and no fried tortillas). Side is refried beans and usually corn.

&#60;p&#62;Pinterest has been a huge motivator in finding recipes and trying new ones out! I don't usually plan anything for Saturday and Sunday due to the shop. Plus, my cousin-in-law and I provide dinners for each other's family once a week so it'll push one of my planned meals down to the weekend, which works out perfectly!
