@Weagle: She's going to be 4 months next week. We've tried the Woombie before, and she is NOT a fan. I figured that I shouldn't move her, especially since she was knocked out that way.

@MamaMoose: Oh wow! Okay, so she's not alone on this. Good to know.

@birdofafeather: Hmm...i think we may need to get some new swaddle related gear. I will look into the Halo and maybe into swaddle weaning, too.

when LO started breaking out of the miracle blanket, we switched to the halo swaddles and then were able to get her to hands out swaddled, then one hand out for her to suck on and then just as a sleep sack. she always gets in weird positions and now completely sleeps on her belly, sometimes face down into the mattress!

How old is she? When LO started breaking out of the MB we moved on to the Woombie. We weaned once she started breaking out of that. As far as sleeping positions goes, as long as she's not in danger of suffocating, I let LO sleep in any position she would like.

LO has become a Little Houdini and can now get out of the Miracle Blanket. Sometimes even just getting her leg our causes her to cry out for us. Last night I got so fed up in general (we've been having problems soothing her to sleep, and for a variety of reasons are holding off on sleep training) that I just left her there. She ended up in this crazy position on her side with her head thrown back. She was sound asleep that way, but I am a bit worried.

I guess it's time to wean from the swaddle? Should I let her sleep in that position?
