We used our snap and go for the first 6 months, then used our Maclaren volo umbrella and our Ergo.

Snap and go and Volo are the only strollers we have. :)

We're expecting baby 2, but decided against buying a double stroller. We don't go out enough, plus we plan on wearing our #2.

Yes - we went out and bought a second stroller when DD was 3 weeks old. We'd originally bought a Steelcraft (Britax) all terrain stroller, which is great for taking long walks around the neighbourhood etc, but we quickly decided it was much too large and cumbersome to drag in and out of the car on a regular basis. It was also hard to steer with the handle in the reverse position so it was a nightmare in crowded areas. We solely use it for walks around the neighbourhood now.

We went out and bought a BabyLove (Aussie brand) deluxe umbrella stroller that is suitable for infants (fully reclines, several seat positions etc) and has a basket underneath for carrying stuff. We keep that one in the car and use it every time we go out as it's just so much lighter, easier to maneuver, and more compact for navigating crowded places.

Yup. We registered for the snap and go and I figured I would decide on a stroller once LO was here. We were gifted a Phil & Teds for our shower from my mom and my MIL gave me a BabyJogger FIT for my bday....he's too little for anything but carseat/snap and go at the moment though (4 mos).

I only wanted one stroller, but when we moved to the suburbs we bought a BOB. I use the BOB daily on morning walks- it it set up in our entrance. Then we have the UppaBaby cruise in the back of the car for when we end up going out- 90% of the time we just use the carseat adapter with it. I hate that we have both, but I had to use the BOB the other day and it BARELY fit in the back of our car. That thing is HUGE. I don't know if this really helps your cause regarding the trailer/Bob situation. But I think the Bob is way to big to go shopping with.

I might get a 2nd stroller for in the malls and such. Just a cheapy, since we are rural and would rarely use that. Daily we use our heavy-duty stroller for our rugged terrain and will be using it in the snow too.

We have a stroller that came with the travel system that's kind of bulky but worked well for us when she was younger, and now we use an umbrella stroller most of the time.

We have a BOB and an UppaBaby Vista. I plan to run with LO and I wanted to best available jogging stroller for my comfort and LO's safety so we bought a BOB used from one of my husband's cousins. But I just don't see it as being feasible as an every day stroller. It doesn't fold compactly, it's heavy, and it would be cumbersome in a store. So we bought the Vista as our every day stroller. Some people prefer to have a light weight umbrella and we may end up with one of those too in the long run, but I really hope to just stick with the Vista. I find it really easy to fold, it's compatible with our car seat and we have the option of the bassinet. And it's super easy to maneuver... so I plan to get lots and lots of use out of it : )

I haven't bought them yet, but I have decided that we will need at least 2 different kind of strollers to fit our lifestyle needs.
On a daily, regular basis, we live in a large, sprawling suburban city with tons of malls, parks, and shopping plazas. For that, I've decided we need a light stroller that can easily fold and be taken in/out of the car.
Then, we have a place in the mountains that I've decided we need a BOB stroller for the rugged terrain and hikes. Also, it's convenient for Stroller Strides and walking/running post-baby.
It definitely is not one that I would want to haul in/out of the car all the time though, so I couldn't do with just the one.

I think it's all about really evaluating your lifestyle and needs. hth!

There is no stroller out there that will fit the entire range of needs, I like to think I have an all terrain stroller for my every day needs (errands, long walks on pavement or trails) and a compact umbrella stroller for air travel and city usage. Once you get used to that, you'll be okay with having more than one stroller, it worked for me!

I thought the advantage of a Chariot was that it could be converted to a jogger?

I didn't want a BOB because it was too big to haul around for shopping and such in and out of my car.

We are stroller shopping and want something that has heavy duty wheels (we live in Canada and need something durable in the snow), that I can run with, and that we can take on an easy trail walk in the summer. We also want a trailer we can attached to a bike for summer biking. In looking at all the options, it seems we might have to buy two strollers -- or rather a stroller and a chariot (trailer) to meet our needs. We're considering the Bob and then the Chariot when she's big enough to be in the bike trailer. But holy, that seems like a lot!

So I'm curious, did you end up having to purchase more than one wheeled piece of gear for your LO and to meet your lifestyle choices? Which ones did you get and why?

I have 5month old identical twin boys! They are 3 mins apart and came at 34wks 6days. They are my first and it happened naturally .. No fertility treatments, etc. They are definitely handfuls and I really don't know how we survived the first few months, but I wouldn't change a thing because they are amazing :) Having twins never crossed my mind, but it has been such a blessing! They are healthy, happy, and growing very fast! No one believes they were premies!

@Rock N Roll: A friend of mine had fraternal twins and she said that it was all right because she didn't know any differently. Another one had twin boys after she had 2 other kids that were a bit older and she thought it was very hard because she was remembering ow it was with just 1 baby. I know it has to take some adjusting! The one friend that had twins first had another baby several years after her twins and she thought it was a breeze because she was used to dealing with 2. :)

There is a part of me that thinks it would be so awesome to have twins, but a much larger part of me that knows that dealing with one newborn is hard enough- I can't even imagine how hard it is to do it with two! Plus I think I would be so worried about pregnancy complications and everything. I don't know. I think I'm just blessed with whatever I get whenever I get it!

There is a family at my school that the dads are identical twins (I have trouble telling them apart and have to use their wives to help me figure it out). Well, one of the dads had fraternal twins. Then, there is another family that had 2 sets of fraternal twins naturally. How crazy is that?

But then I think about how hard Charlie was, and I can't imagine having two little Charlies waking each other up at night!
