I’d say wait it out - just keep up with your routine, and if after 60 or 90 minutes there’s no nap get them up and go on with your day as best you can. Good luck!

Yes, my LO did right around 2. It lasted a couple weeks on a off then she went back to mostly napping, but occasionally she would still just play in her crib. I just kept doing the same thing and would leave her in the crib in the dark for at least an hour unless she was really screaming. Mostly she just rolled around and played if she didn’t nap.

She’s now 2 y 9 m and hardly ever naps, but I still put her in the crib as if she’s going to. Most of the time she plays but the dark quiet time is still somewhat restful for her (and for me!!!).

Help! My 28-month old has been on nap strike for a week! He goes to bed between 6:30-7pm, wakes up between 5:30-6am and then refuses to nap. We've done all the things we're supposed to- schedule, dark room, white noise, routine etc. I keep trying to stay with our routine, but he's SO busy in there- he gets out of his crib, turns on the light, shrieks, laughs etc. I don't know what to do! He's so tired but so stubborn! Anyone go through nap strike successfully? Tips? Encourgement?
