We pretty much bought LO a new mattress and he finally started sleeping in his crib. The baby is never going to be left unattended on the changing pad so it's not like you're depending on those sides to keep the baby contained. My son is a week shy of 5 months now and honestly I don't feel like there is really an advantage to the 4-sided changing pad. Is there a benefit to the 4 sided? I figured the 4 sided might be harder to find a cover to fit over it nicely. Is baby more secure on a 4 sided pad? What kind do you have? </p>
