There is one older couple down the street that always stopped to speak with us.</p> <p>Tonight, we stopped to say hello to the wife, and she broke down in tears and told us her husband died of a heart attack last week at home, and she found him :( Her kids live an hour away and can only imagine she's lonely. We spoke to her about helping with her yard and her dogs and to call us anytime, but I feel so very sad for her and want to help somehow.</p> <p>It tends to make me uneasy to intrude into people's personal space because I"m a private person, but any ideas on how to help her besides the yard? Maybe a sympathy card to start? </p>
