Is there a sippy adapter lid for the Avent glass? I know there is for the lifestyle glass bottle...

@Cole: that was the other thing I was going to add, getting water out of the green sprouts cup is so hard! I tried sucking and then thought to myself, "no wonder she can't get anything out!" I know they have strong sucking power, but still...wow!

I know you want non-plastic, but we really love the avent sippy. We used the avent glass bottles too and it was a great transition because it uses the same nipples and then transitions to a sippy nipple...we still use them because my daughter has been very slow with the transition to cups.

We also love the Thomas foogo. It comes in a sippy (the sippy part is plastic) and the straw cup (which is what we have).

@Mrs. Goose: I had to take tiny scissors and snip the tiniest bit off the valve of the green sprouts straw. It was hard for me to drink and near impossible for my then 7 month old. That made all the difference.

We use the Green sprouts one, it has a plastic shell but a glass liner and the liquid only touches glass or silicon. It's taken some brutal falls and been fine. We've had two for about a year and only broken one liner which can be replaced. I like that it comes with both a straw top and sippy top too, sippy was easier for my daughter for the first month.

We're using a life factory glass one right now with a sippy cap made of hard plastic. She has figured out how to suck with the silicone insert in after we used it without that part for a little while. We're working on her figuring out how to hold it. It's a bit heavy because it's glass and she doesn't know to tilt it up, but we'll get there.

I also bought a green sprout one based off of recommendations on here. She hasn't figured out that one yet so I have stopped using it for now. She found out she could bite the spout open and drink that way and I didn't want her to keep biting it and put a hole in the silicone spout or something.

I like the life factory bottle, but wish it had handles. However, if you already use a bottle, the bottle style might work well for your babe to figure out how to hold and tilt.

We have the pura kiki straw cup and love it! I just bought (an hour ago!) stainless steel straw contigos though they do have some plastic. The straw is silicone. I plan on getting another pura especially because you can exchange the tops to make it a silly, straw or regular.

DS is 6 months old and our ped recommended introducing a sippy cup and water. We use avent natural glass bottles and are looking for a non-plastic sippy. What's your fave?
