Christmas is always hard for us because we don't live near his family or my extended family so we always end up putting a lot of miles on our car to celebrate Christmas. Ultimately one or both of our families feels cheated because we are rushing off some where else. I would love an easy holiday. :( </p> <p>A little better news the shop just called and my car is ready for pick up. I was hoping to get it back yesterday. Now I am not sure when I am gonna get it back, I just hope before Christmas. :( </p> <p>Dh got called into work again (if he was salary this would be great). Dh was supposed to have three days off this week to make up all the hours he has been working but not anymore. Instead he is working at least 7 straight days because his boss doesn't feel like coming to work today to cover for the other manager. This wouldn't all together suck except Dh was also told that he has to work Christmas eve and the day after Christmas and he couldn't even ask for them off. We both have family out of town. The rest of the managers have family in town (mind you Dh wanted one or the other). He was also told that he couldn't have the Sunday after Christmas off because everyone works Sunday's. My family is going to see TSO and Dh is really upset about missing it again this year. </p> <p>Top it off we had a whole plan of things to do today, including EI this afternoon. I really look forward to Dh's days off because we get to spend time together, I have more help with our boys and we can just get things done. </p> <p>I am very thankful that Dh has a job and I know that none of this vent is really that bad but it was a crappy way to start my Tuesday. :bummed: </p>
