@kayla0416: editing to update: it's this one in the screen shot. I can't remember how I only got one for half price, but maybe you need two for $59? thirty each isn't so bad. I was trying to be super minimalist about my nursing gear, but it would have been nice to have more than one freaking bra for an entire year of my life.

@LCTBQE: How did you get your Soma bra for only $25?? Was it just a good sale, or are there coupons somewhere? That looks like exactly what I'm looking for, but I'm super frugal (cheap) and the $50-60 price tag is giving me anxiety. But all of my $20 bras from Target from my first pregnancy/year nursing have fallen apart, so I guess you get what you pay for. :)

I had Pea in the Pod nursing tanks that also had lightly lined cups built into the shelf bra that I LOVED. I mainly liked the extra lining because it helped cover the nursing pads i had to wear all the time.... With my second I had a really hard time tracking these down and I just googled and didn't see them so I'm not sure if they still exist. I was glad I bought 4 of them, they were the BEST. ALSO, the shelf bra inside wasn't too tight which I found to be an issue with many nursing tanks and one of the too-tight ones kept giving me a clogged duct on one side. :bummed:

@MamaBear87: I tried one and the pads bunched up and the pad shape was super clearly defined! but I'm the only person I know who didn't like the bravado bra, so I guess the cheese stands alone :) I just preferred a nursing tank for casual life because I thought they were more supportive with my sizing issue. plus I love how with tanks when you pull your shirt up your belly is still covered.

@MamaBear87: those are great. I bought a cheap knock-off three pack off Amazon and they're not nearly as nice (the padding is thick and looks funny under clothes).

I love Target's nursing tank, but not all are created equal! I like the one with the three buttons. I bought a striped one and it cuts in too much so I was spilling out.

Glamour mom nursing tanks were BY FAR my favourite! Super long and as supportive as any nursing bra I had.

Nursing bras wise I had a lot from Cake, they tended to be the ones I kept going back to. I am going to head to Nordstrom’s after this LO is born and try a couple other brands as well. After 3 years of breastfeeding between 2 babies I have some rough looking bras in my stash!

@LCTBQE: the nice part of the bravado is they have removable pads so no nappies throwing through. And I'm also a 32dd or ddd and do pretty solid with the bravado ones because the cups are super stretchy

if you need another one with more structure, Soma Embraceable--recommended to me by another HB mama :) I only paid like $25 for mine, it's all black. It was super sturdy and had great shape and underwire and nice supportive straps/body, so, the opposite of the bravado bras. I wore it for work though, where I need to look good and not have nipples showing, and pretty much wore nursing tanks under my tops on weekends/evenings. The other thing that's great about Soma is they have unusual sizes and the bands have 4 settings if you're not a generic S M L size. I'm a 32DD and all the other bras I tried were way too loose in the band.

@MamaBear87: That sounds perfect for me - my ribcage expands a lot during pregnancy so last time all my nursing bras/tanks had horribly stretched bands. (I buy S since my boobs are so small, I mean normally when I haven't just had milk come in).

The nursing bras and tanks I wore 24/7 when DD was born were not the most high-quality, well-fitting, or luxurious. Looking back on it, I spent SO MUCH time in them I think this time I'm willing to drop some cash on a few real quality pieces. What did you love? Links please!

Bravado bliss!

I have very large ones with a small rib cage. Hot milk and cake didn't have my sizes. I tried a panache (sophie) but it wasn't supportive. Bravado bliss has molded cups with structure, can also be made racerback, which I need or I get pinched nerves (they are so heavy). Someone recommended it on here and I am grateful.

I was an F cup while nursing and used Bravado Body Silk bras. They were great at first...and I stuck out using them for the full year I breastfed/pumped around the clock. They were definitely beat (basically not doing their job to hold my ta tas up!) by the time I was done.

I *did* have problems with underwire until around 9 months post partum. The pressure almost always caused a painful plugged duct.
