I had this happen to me too. All of a sudden I was breaking out like crazy, I've only ever had acne like that when I was pregnant. I'm on the pill that makes my period come every 3 months so it's not like I could even wait for my period, it would take forever. But the test was negative, and I realized it must be due to a med that I was taking.

I was also relieved because we just weren't ready yet and I was taking lots of meds that wouldn't be healthy for baby..... but I was upset. If I wasn't on the meds I wouldn't mind an oops baby!

False alarm guys! I took a test last night, which came back negative, and then woke this morning with my period. And it's a doosy!! Part of me is relieved and another part dissapointed. I know you all get that. :)

Yep, we have two. Both NTNP, so it was inevitable. I am 24 weeks and have an 18 month old.

Both of ours were sort of oops. We were NTNP, but I was also told it would be difficult for me to get pregnant, so we didn't think it was that possible without having to have some medical interventions.

I will say that I'm 10w with my second pregnancy and do not feel anything like my first! Symptoms are much more subtle this time and I actually have a hard time even recognizing that I have any. I actually didn't even test until I was 6w because I had NO symptoms and thought my cycle was off since DS had recently weaned.

For peace of mind I would just take a test. Good luck and I hope you get the answer you wanted :)

@chrispygal: Oops birth control pill didn't work, so neither. We were preventing but that was our only line of defense. Now I'm on the Mirena (day two).

I don't think I am preggo but I am 5 days late and have been feeling bloated and a bit nauseous. I don't feel the same as I did with my first pregnancy and I've been under a lot of stress at work, which is likely causing these issues. I am getting to the point though where I am going to grab a test just to make certain I'm not. We're very careful to prevent pregnancy right now, but I'm not on the pill because it really messed with my hormones post pardum. I know condoms are not 100% effective so there is a slim chance, but I'm wondering how many Bee's here had a "oops" second pregnancy and if it was an "oops", were you using contraception?

I'm trying not to freak out but you know I'm not going to be able to focus on anything else until I take a test. haha!
