The first month I started using OPK's I started on CD 6 or 7 I believe. I wasn't sure when I ovulated, so I tested from that point on just to get a feel for my cycle. I have 32 day cycles and usually don't get a positive OPK until CD 16. The 2nd cycle I started testing at CD 12 just to make sure I didn't miss it. Told me to get clear blue with the lines.<br /> Said not to worry about shade of second line. If there was a second line even a light one, i was ovulating! I order them from Amazon and you get 4o for under $10. It's great because you wind up using so many per cycle.
