It's definitely a tooth and I'm assuming it's a canine. I've been checking her front gums regularly because she's been showing teething behavior but wasn't seeing anything, now I know what's up. Poor baby. Primary teeth will come in out of sequence usually when one of the parents primary teeth did the same thing. Or if there are missing teeth. sometime babies are born without all of the permanent dentition.
