While I love the bento style with so many compartments, it is so simple, easy, convenient, BPA free, microwave safe and dish washer safe and all, it is made in China. </p> <p>And when I find something that is not made in China, it didn't say it is BPA...etc. free.</p> <p>I am not trying to be difficult but when it comes to things that touches food, I am really trying to use things that are NOT made in China. However there seems to be no good options out there! I don't like how there are so many components it is just a nightmare to wash every day.</p> <p>LO's daycare doesn't accept glass containers, so that option is also out of the door...</p> <p>Are there any good bento boxes out there that are NOT made in China, and are BPA, PVC, and phthalates free, and microwaveable and dishwasher-safe at the same time, that you'd recommend?</p> <p>ETA: Just in case you think I am being offensive... I am Chinese myself. haha. Yes. I don't trust my own kind especially when we read 100 times more horrible news than just China-imported poisonous pet food a few years ago. </p>
