We used to mix peas and white bean puree, and that worked really well for us.
We also found that LO didn't like the healthier frozen green beans, but would totally eat green beans out of a can.
LO also LOVED sweet potatoes, and so we used that as a mix-in to get him to eat just about anything.

She does love applesauce and carrots so maybe I will try those. I have just used the purchased food, and tried to make my own green beans (in a high quality food processor so they were pretty smooth).

We aren't doing meat yet, still trying to get through more fruits and veggies.

We do peas and carrots. Are there any foods that your LO loves that you could mix it with?

I used to throw the peas in with brown rice and chicken, then I'd puree. I also started adding spices when LO was around 8 months old.

Is she eating meat? I remember mixing meat, peas (or any green veggies), and rice or pasta all together and my LO loved it.

Mixing both of those veggies with pear, apple, or mango is really good - gives it a slightly sweeter/sour flavour.

Have you tried straining the peas and string beans? I had to do that at first otherwise my son would spit them out.

I am trying to think of something that has a stronger flavor than peas, and I have to say, I am stumped!

I didn't wait to introduce spinach, I used the frozen chopped kind and because it's kind of bland, my son loved it. He still eats it almost daily.

So, little girl doesn't like her green veggies. So far we have tried just tried green beans and peas. I have heard to hold off on broccoli and spinach. She just doesn't like anything green!

Any suggestions on what I can mix with the beans/peas to make them more appetizing? I need something to mask the flavor so rice/cereal won't really work.
