Do you have a Nordstrom near you? They will give you little spray samples of anything! I need to wear a perfume for a few days before I decide if I like it or I get over it. A little spray bottle gets you a couple weeks! I like light and fresh scents and florals-I love Chanel Chance and dolce and gabana's light blue.

@ainsworthe: I don't know if this is a weird offer, but I have a bottle of Halo that I've had for years, that I have barely used. If you want, I can send it to you for free. I have no use for it, it's just sitting in my cabinet. Let me know if you want it :)

ETA btw I love your profile name, my DD's name is Ainsley

@ainsworthe: Oh, I remember Halo. I worked at VS when they discontinued it. I would say VS Pink and VS Body by Victoria are similar light, clean smells. Also maybe even VS Sexy Little Things, which I like and wear.

I found this website, that lists an "people who like this also like" down the sidebar.

Narrow it down by what kind of smells you like and then just gradually test them. It's best to just try one or two at a time, put them on your skin and then wear them for 30+ minutes before you decide you like them. That way it gives the perfume time to adjust to your hormones and that you'll really get to see what it will smell like on you.

What perfume was it that you liked?

The perfume I've used forever has been discontinued for a few years now. I am sick of trying to find it anymore. Any ideas on how to go about picking a new scent?

I don't wear perfume anyway! But my MIL does, and I hate when I get the baby back because she reeks. Ugh. Gives me a headache for the rest of the day unless I bathe her.

I didn't wear perfume much when she was born because I was worried she'd have a reaction to it. Now I don't wear it much because I want her to be able to recognize my scent.

I think I've maybe worn it twice since she's been born.

No, when DS was born he spent so much time on my chest I didn't want any strong smells or alcohol near his face. Also, mum's scent is important to babies, I wouldn't want to cover it.

I hardly wore perfume before because smells tend to give me headaches, so I wear it even less now.

I usually wear White Tea and Ginger body spray from BBW.

I stopped wearing perfume for the most part since my sense of smell was heightened during 1st Tri. I already have a very sensitive nose and allergies, so only wear limited kinds of perfumes. I was in the mood to buy a new bottle yesterday, but stopped myself because I figured most moms probably don't wear perfume around babies right? Especially when you're BF?

* I might be tempted to get another bottle of this baby perfume. I bought one in Paris and it's such a nice fresh scent - and made for babies? lol!
