I saw those in the Buy Buy Baby insert the other day, I was this close to getting the yellow one but ended up going with a cheaper bag. But with my predominantly gray/black/neutral/red/pink/green clothes wardrobe, the yellow is fun! A pop of color that goes well with what I wear but isn't a color I wear. I hope you get that one!

It's funny how once you ask a question you immediately know what you want. I told my mom YELLOW! I really do love it. I hope DH isn't too bummed, haha. She's going to the store to get it and if they're out of yellow then I said do the grey as a backup. Thank you all for your input! Now I just have to wait a week to find out.

@Bubbles: @yellowbird: Thank you! I am drawn to the yellow myself and then the red second but I'm afraid, haha. I think I may just take the plunge and go for the color. Or maybe just tell my mom to surprise me

I've decided on my diaper bag for our baby girl coming soon and my mom has offered to gift it to me. So now I just need to pick a color/pattern! My choice is the PPB Downtown Tote. I'm not crazy about the black. DH of course picks the gray and white (top left) which is fine but I'm kind of left with wanting a little color. So what do you ladies think?! Which one do you like? Thanks in advance!!!

@citymouse: It does not have that many pockets. I tend to just put everything in the main section.

@littlek: I am assuming I will be an overpacker as well, and we are cloth diapering. Do you feel it has enough pockets for things? Or do you use something additional like those sugarsnap things?

I have the city carryall. We cloth diaper (prefolds and covers. I admittedly don't carry too much around because I'm not much of a "bag" person, and I drive most places so I can store stuff in the car. But it has worked well for us, and I really like the way the changing pad zips out. I usually leave it open unless we are in a crowded store or something, and then I zip it. I stay at home so I don't have to pack for daycare. I usually carry two prefolds, a cover, a change of clothes, cloth and regular wipes, water in a peri bottle (for wipes), a couple toys, and my wallet. A swaddle blanket when she was little.
I've been happy with it so far, and I got it from one of their online outlet sales for a nice price!

@swedishfish: yeah, I looked at the boxy backpack today as well and knew I wouldnt like it. I could barely reach inside to look around! It should zip down the sides more I think? As for the weekender, Im assuming well need a bigger bag bc we are cloth diapering. Still trying to find *the* bag that doesnt cost a fortune, is stylish, large, lots if pockets, wipeable or washable...seems impossible!

I wish it had better pockets and a better top closure. Mine is never zipped because I have too much stuff in there but also because the zipper opens up if you unzip all the way.

ETA - it's a big bag for everyday use. I have a boxy backpack for short trips but I really don't love it. I prefer the weekender even though it's bigger.

Anyone with the Wistful Weekender have negatives to say about it?

Ive read that it can become a hole because there aren't *that* many pockets on the inside.

Thoughts?
