All you can do is test. You might want to add charting and OPKs next cycle so you can have more clarity about your cycle.

I'd keep testing! If you are pregnant, those are def symptoms and not something to worry about, as spotting is quite normal. I hope this is it for you!

@Emsmems: thank you! I know I haven't officially gotten a bfp, but now after having two mc I'm terrified! It sounds ridiculous to be so scared of losing something I don't even know I have yet. I hope AF doesn't show and the cramps go away just to ease my mind. I do actually pray to God that if He allows me to carry a baby I would gladly take the nausea, constipation, and peeing on myself any day of the week.

It sounds promising but it's so hard to say! I would be "convinced" I was pregnant and then AF would arrive, and the month I got my BFP I was "convinced" I wasn't pregnant! So you don't really know until you know! I will say that although my cramping and sore nipples didn't come until a bit after my BFP, they did come and go! So in short, just test! And good luck :goodluck: ! I hope you get your :bfp: !

I hope I don't sound stupid, but I've only been ttc since my last two mc last year. I already have two DS ages 11 and 6, but I can't remember a thing about early pregnancy symptoms because I wasn't trying then. It was a surprise those times. But now that DH and I are trying I'm all over the place trying to learn my cycles. Since my mc's my cycles have been irregular fluctuating between 35 and 44 days! Last cycle was 44 days. I'm currently on cd 43 and here's where my dilemma starts so please bear with me. So, on cd 34 I had right ovary pain, minor cramping, and a spot of blood one time when I went to the bathroom. Cramping continued cd34 through today cd 43. Cramps are off and on mild, but sometimes really intense for a few minutes. No blood. I also had sore tingly nipples cd 37-cd 41 but the soreness has gone away. I took a hpt on cd37 with a bfn. I've been feeling funny, but I'm not sure if it's phantom pregnancy symptoms because I want to be pregnant so bad. I'm extremely bloated (been wearing yoga pants for a few days cause my jeans are too tight), feeling exhausted, cramps, backache, really thirsty and always hungry, and I cried yesterday over something ridiculous. My question is could I be pregnant with a long cycle and if so should I be concerned about the cramping and loss of sore nipples? I'm planning on testing tomorrow if AF doesn't show. What do you think?

I had lots of period-like cramps during the first tri...a couple of times I woke up convinced I was miscarrying because of it. I bet you have nothing to worry about!

Thanks ladies!

When I actually sit down and think about it, you're right; I've been having leg tension (and all-over-body pains), and cramping for weeks. I might just be associating them these few days with my actual period because I was subconsciously? expecting it.

You have a lot of the same hormones in your system when you're pregnant and when you have your period. So it's not surprising you would have similar symptoms. As long as you don't have any bleeding or sever cramping I'm sure you're fine.

i agree with @ladyfingers. a lot of the early symptoms are very similar to period symptoms. most of us had period-like cramping early on. they go away, no worries!

I think a lot of pregnancy symptoms are the same as period symptoms, so that might be what you're experiencing. I had period-like cramps for the better part of my first trimester!

I feel like I've scoured the internet, but I've really got to ask.

I've always been super regular cycle-wise. 25 days on-the-dot, mostly. Yesterday, were I not just about 7 weeks pregnant, would be day 1 of my cycle. And I swear I'm having all of my regular period-symptoms, less any bleeding. Leg tension, cramps, uncharacteristic chocolate cravings, etc.

Does this sound familiar for anyone else? On one hand I'm thinking it's a blow-it-off situation. On the other hand I'm an eetsy bit anxious for my first real appt in two weeks.

Any anecdotes are helpful!
