They come in small and large size. They absorb quickly and they don't have compression leaks like microfiber. What inserts should I use in my 4.0's? DS is 6 weeks old and weighs about 11 pounds right now. I'm not sure if I should be using the larger insert snapped down or the newborn insert with my pocket diapers. Is it just a trial and error type of thing?</p> <p>Also, I got some bamboo inserts at the suggestion of a cloth diapering store near my parents' house, but now that I have them I'm not really sure how to use them. Can they be used on their own? Or do I have use to the microfiber inserts in combination with the bamboo? And what about hemp inserts? Now, if I have to use our 4.0s, I stuff with a Flip organic insert. I find that i get leaks so it must be the inserts i'm using (microfibre inserts that someone sewed for a friend, who passed them onto me). They come in two sizes (small and large) and have been perfect for us. They absorb a lot, keep a trim fit and no compression leaks. You can get two for $9 which I think is a great deal. Lately though, they are getting soaked through so i've stuffed them with the NB and OS at night and then doubling up the NBs during the day, mostly because she's still so small so stuffing her diaper so big makes her look huge and her clothes don't fit as well!</p> <p>How do you stuff your LOs pocket diapers? Is it time to bump her up to the OS during the day too? </p>
