We got ours from sweetobottoms baby boutique which is local but they do online sales. I just got another one this week because lo is outgrowing his. We started him at 4 months. We still have to do motrin at night when they are cutting through, but never during the day and he never drools

I ordered from Inspired by Finn too! I had DS wearing the necklace since he was 6 months old, and we really didn't have many teething issues, at least during the day time. Sometimes at night, he would wake up, though I'm not entirely sure it was due to his teeth. We did give him some of those Camilia teething drops and that seemed to work because he went back to sleep quickly.

We got ours at a local kids store, but you can order them on Amazon for about $15.
We also use homeopathic Camilia drops and the 'natural' Orajel. When its really bad and she's restless/cranky and clearly in pain, we give her Tylenol.
Hope it gets better for you soon!

N is 18 months and I think he is finally popping his molars. He has been miserable since last night. He slept in two hour blocks and would wake up and cry. He won't let me look at his mouth but I suspect it is molars.

Where did you get your teething necklace? What else helps your lo with teething? It breaks my heart to see him miserable and all he wants is his mommy. (Right now he can't always have me because I have a newborn who is ebf. )

Help me!

@hellobeeboston: We are not giving him WCM anymore. We were trying to get him transitioned before our trip out west in a couple of weeks. I am looking to get him into an allergist because of other allergies that run in the family. It doesn't look like I can get him into after the first of the year. DH and I have decided that we will not be giving him anything milk related until after the allergist.

Aww - don't feel like the worst mommy - these things happen! You were going to need to try WCM at some point!

I would take him to get tested for the allergy then you can know of sure.

We just went through a terrible diaper rash due to sickness and new diapers (honest dipes - ugh) -- and did lots of creams, an a lot of naked time to let it air out. Poor N - I hope he is better soon. Maybe lay off the WCM and see if it improves?

N has a terrible rash on his bottom and completely screams through diaper changes. We started to introduce whole cows milk into his diet on Tuesday in two ounce increments per bottle. He seemed ok Tuesday, but woke up in the middle of the night which isn't like him at all. He was shaking and in tears, we just thought it was a nightmare. We pulled into bed with us and he went back down. The rash seemed to not be getting worse so we just put a barrier on it to help it heal. Last night I put Benadryl cream on his bottom and it seemed better this morning. However after his morning bottom and cereal with WCM his rash got so much worse. I feel so bad about it. My mum cares for him while I am at work, so she knows what to look out for.

I just feel so bad that he has such an awful rash, what is worse is I felt in my gut that he would do poorly. However his doctor said we should at least try WCM. I should have just stood up for myself and for him. DH and I can not have cows milk. Since N went on formula he has been on Soy. They tried to make more feel worse about him continuing to be on soy formula.

I am sorry I know this is long and very rant like. I am just sad that his bottom look so awful. I know it has to hurt. (I feel like the worlds worst mommy)

@Beyond2: Oh, really?? I could be wrong about that! I just thought coconut oil was too much of a moisturizer, so could help yeast grow. But I could be totally wrong about that!

@Adira: Interesting! I've always heard that coconut oil was a natural anti fungal and was a good choice for yeast rashes unless they are very severe.

@MrsRcCar: Are there any bumps at all? Is it possible that it's a yeast infection? If there's any chance it's yeast, something like coconut oil or aquaphor will only make it worse!

What's worked for us when Xander has diaper rash is just REALLY make sure that it's dry before we put any diaper rash cream or his diaper back on! I keep a cloth on the changing table so I can pat him dry after I change him and then I'll lather him with Desitin and put the diaper on him.

If you think it might be an allergy or something, you could also try using cortisone oitment to help clear it up. Xander has eczema and sometimes he'll get it on his bottom and we'll use cortisone oitment, which seems to work well. But I only put it on his butt cheeks.

Do you cloth diaper? DD had a bad rash once that came on pretty quickly - it was due to her diapers retaining detergent and irritating her skin.

Bees!

I need your help. N has a rash on his bottom. :/
We aren't 100% sure what has happened for him to get this rash. A couple places are extremely red and raw. We have been putting A&D ointment on it just to get a barrier on his bottom.

The only thing we can think that caused it has we introduced dairy over the weekend.

Help?!? I guess I just want his bottom to feel better.
