We do all kinds, but our easiest go to recipe is just orange juice and banana pureed together. Add gelatin to your smoothies/puree/juice and your popsicles won't be as drippy. Or freeze jello!

I love http://www.amazon.com/Zoku-ZK115-Mini-Pop-Molds/dp/B00CDL3538/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1455063763&sr=8-1&keywords=zoku+mini+pop+molds

I love the size (doesn't get too melty), that it's silicon so you can actually pop them out (I even do baby purees in them without the sticks, then they're perfect portions for baby brother), and it's easy to clean.

I do various smoothie recipes in them for the preschooler!

We have this one and I really like it. The pops are small though- like 2-3 tablespoons. Perfect for my toddler because she really didn't eat much more than that last summer. I mostly made smoothies and froze them. For an adult they are a pretty small serving though.

It was very easy to pop them out of the mold too.

We have this one: Munchkin Click Lock Fresh Food Freezer Pops https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AA6LQKM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awd_3WNUwb8TSV6PR

I like it because it's oval so no risk of choking. Favorite Popsicles are frozen juices, frozen yogurt, and even purees!

We also live in a warm climate, but I'm too lazy to actually make a specific recipe so what I do is whenever I make a smoothie, I just put the extra in a Popsicle mold. They aren't very sweet usually but LO doesn't seem to mind. One thing he likes a lot is just plain pumpkin purée.

@T-Mom: Nooooo, but I'm opposed to adding sugar to any thing ever. I think that lots of people would add a little honey or brown sugar or something to a recipe like that. I used pretty tart yogurt, too, so a sweeter one might make more sugar redundant.

@sarac: that sounds really yummy... I need to branch out beyond fruits. Did you add any kind of sweetener to yours, or was it sweet enough with all the fruits?

No, they're literally the easiest thing in the world. I just made a batch that was a cup of whole milk yogurt, a cup of whole milk, a few spoonfuls of almond butter, and then a ton of random fruit. Some frozen blueberries and strawberries, some fresh peaches, and a banana. They have been a huge hit. Next time I'm going to use way more almond butter to up the protein even more.

It's hot where we live for the majority of the year so my kids eat popsicles year round. I have been making homemade Popsicles. They were also great when DS was teething. We recently picked a ton of strawberries and I found a great strawberry Popsicle recipe. It's delicious and my kids love it. http://bakedbree.com/healthy-strawberry-popsicles . I have also mixed yogurt in to make yogurt pops. Yesterday I made avocado/pear pops off of Pinterest. Those were a fail (in my opinion)!

What are your favorite Popsicle recipes?
