I got dilated to 1.5, 50% effaced and cervix shortened to 2.7 maybe (or 2.4, I can't remember) - at 30 weeks. A hospital stay, meds, and then 7 weeks of bedrest and I did not progress further on bedrest, but remained dilated, effaced, and shortened cervix. Delivered just 10 days early (taken off bedrest at 37 1/2 weeks). At my 18 week anatomy scan, my cervix was a totally normal length and I hadn't had any ultrasounds or measurements in between. </p> <p>My sister delivered her first 6 weeks early, then was diagnosed with cervical incomptence with her 2nd and 3rd pregancies, was on bedrest, but delivered full term. </p> https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/short-cervical-length#post-872968 Thu, 20 Jun 2013 20:16:49 +0000 littlek 872968@https://boards.hellobee.com/ <p>@tr14ue: I had a friend that had an incompetent cervix. She had cerclage (sp?) My cervix thinned, shortened, and dilated to 2.
