@yanaromoser: okay. Even if you ovulated the 13th, it's still very early to have PG symptoms. I really hope that nothing is wrong and that these symptoms will pass.

@Umbreon: I do track my Cycle. I started my period September 5th and ended September 8th. My fertility window was the 13th-18th. I do not know when i ovulated though so that is the only issue.

I voted that your body us just broken haha. I'm not sure what's wrong with you but it doesn't sound like you've been timing your cycle? Even if you ovulated the same day you had sex, 5 days is too soon to have symptoms. You noticed symptoms the day after you had sex which is even more impossible.

So I don't know what's wrong with you but I really don't think it's pregnancy related at all.

So on Thursday my SO and i had sex, and he pulled out but really thinks he could have cam a little inside me the next day i started to feel cramps. Saturday rolled around and my back started to hurt. Sunday my lower back was killing me where i couldn't sit on my butt and still hurts to do so. i had to be on my side, and i still had the cramping feeling. Monday it was horrible. I went to the Drs and they did a urine sample to test for pregnancy (which i new wouldn't show any ways) and for a UTI. both of those results came back negative. They drew my blood as well and said they couldn't see anything from that and it didn't show i was pregnant either. I know it has only been 5 days but it seems my back pain isnt getting any better nor are my cramps. i also get head aces off an on through out the day, and it feels like i always have to pee, like my bladder is never empty. I dont know what is wrong with me. When i was pregnant with my last 2 i knew i was pregnant very early on i just had that feeling, this time i dont have that feeling but curious what you think. Could i be pregnant or is my body just being stupid for some reason. Also it doesn't hurt to pee at all. no funny smell either. Only discharge i have is clear but not sticky just clear and wet. and after i go pee the back pain is a lot worse. and cramps are more noticeable. I woke up at 3:30 in the morning and peeped and then at 6:00 i peed again. and then at 7:50 this morning once again. Since 7:50 i have peed 5 other times and its only 1:30 now. when i pee it isnt a lot but i do get pee out. what is going on with my body???

Sorry you're struggling. Highly recommend a good therapist and psychiatris if you don't have them already. Do you have any hobbies that you could turn into a little "job" or do volunteer work to give you something to do? I think it's probably easier at this point to wait to find employment until after you e had the baby, unless finances require a different plan. Next time, I'd encourage you to go to HR/Occupational health to get an ADA reasonable accommodation that will legally protect you. I just went through this process and my supervisor and HR only know I have a covered disability and the accommodation I need. They do not know any other details, only Occupational Health is aware of the exact diagnosis.

I'm sorry you went through that with work. I would encourage you to find a therapist to talk to. Pregnancy hormones are no joke and neither are post partum hormones and getting yourself help, whether by talking it out or medication if necessary will set you up to be a good place when your baby comes. Sounds like your partner is supportive so that's huge!

Hello, this is my first time here.

My name is Autumn, I am 34. I had to quit my job that i had for twelve years due to insensitivity from the newly transfered manager. I was diagnosed with severe anxiety and depression by my doctor and immediately informed the manager of the diagnosis. To my surprise she treated it as if the condition doesn't exist and continued to push my mental state to the limit. April eighth was the day i was pushed overboard, resulting in my resignation.

I am now six months pregnant. I am happy and scared at the same time. This is my first baby. I live with my fiance who's the daddy to be. Often times though i wonder if i did the right thing. I feel worthless and lazy. My depression and anxiety will not let go of me. I try to stay calm for my sake and more importantly the babies. It just seems like its getting too much to bare, i just don't know what to do. Finding work has been fruitless. My fiance though tells me not to worry about work just the baby. I love him so much, but i still feel terrible for not working.

Welcome to town! I'm on the west side, but my grandparents are down in Seabrook, so maybe we'll cross paths one day

Definitely get on finding an OB. It took me 6 doctors before I found one who would take me when I moved here in late 2014 at 33 weeks. I delivered at TX Children's, and while I didn't love it as much as everyone else seems to, it was certainly fine, and I did like the OB (even if I didn't know her particularly well after transferring). Feel free to PM me for her info if you need it.

Hi! I also live in Houston, we have a really nice group of ladies living in this area :-) I'm more in the middle of the city, so I don't have a ton of general recommendations regarding the area you'll be living in. OB-wise, I'll be delivering at Texas Children's Pavilion for Women, which I love and I also loooove my OB (Dr. Timmins). It's a bit far for you, but maybe doable? My coworker recently had her baby at the Pavilion and she lives in Clear Lake, though it was a bit easier in terms of appointments because we work really nearby. I would say maybe make some calls now to find an OB because in my experience some can get "full" quickly. I switched doctors around 12 weeks because I wanted to deliver at the Pavilion and I had to contact quite a few. Some OBs weren't taking any more Aug. patients at that point. Good luck with the move!

ETA: I also moved from the NE about three years ago. It's definitely different here, but I love it so far! Summers are hot, but then winters are mild, so it's a tradeoff ;-)

I was in your boat a year and a half ago. I'm from the Boston area, and have lived up north my whole life. I had never even been to Texas before we moved to Houston! It's very different from the good ol northeast but there are some perks here: not having to dig out your car from the snow, incredible, diverse food, and easy on-ramps to highways (unlike so much of mass :silly: )

the food is probably my favorite part, I was pregnant last summer and that was my least favorite part. girl, humidity is not playing around here.

Thank you so much for sharing your story, @pachamama! I came across another of your threads while googling to find stories of other women trying to conceive for a while who had pre-menstrual brown spotting. I have this same issue (brown spotting for up to a week before my period) and have been TTC for going on 10 months. I started seeing an RE early because I was so worried about the spotting. It is nice to see it can still happen naturally even with the spotting and less than ideal numbers, as I've been reading so much on threads about women failing IVF that I'm totally freaked out and depressed. I hope I can try to stop obsessing about this and enjoy other things in life. Maybe it will happen for me after all :)

I've gotten pregnant on clomid twice. First resulted in miscarriage and second with DD. We tried it again when we were TTC #2 but it did not work.

I know someone who had three, the second took a long time but then the third was quicker than they expected. I think since it worked well for you the first two times, it probably will for a third!

I've gotten pregnant once on clomid and one of my friends twice but neither of us tried more than that.

Also, since you're going to be trying soon, I have some pregnancy tests to pass on to you! I can drop them by or send them to you!
