I would edit my post to be more specific but I can't figure out how. Basically, it just feels like 75% of our interactions are negative. Me having to redirect him or stop him from doing things he knows not to do, like hitting his brother, jump off the toilet, hit windows with toys. I understand he's testing me and that his behavior is age appropriate, I'm just finding it so exhausting and disheartening. I don't want to be using threats and time outs but I find that stuff coming out of my mouth.
