That's a great raise and you are obviously worth what the company is paying you. I wouldn't worry at all about the timing with your maternity leave.</p> <p>I work in a small office and ended up having to tell about my pg before my year end review. While I was nervous about this, everything went fine and it did not effect my raise and bonus. I felt guilty too. It was literally the next day that I told them I was pregs. But the raise is presumably based on the hard work you've already done and what your current skill set is so your pregnancy shouldn't affect that. Congrats on the nice raise! We normally don't get 9% raises and I was told not to expect this all the time (haha i wish!) but it just seemed like bad timing for them to decide to give me a larger than usual raise.
