Perfect! Thank you!! I'll ask the 16th which side it's on. I know it's not definitive, but it's still fun. ;-)

The best way to find your location of your placenta is to ask the tech. I asked at just shy of 9 weeks, and she said left. I found out I am having a girl, so it was true for me! The theory only works up until 9 weeks.

Oh right! I just meant from everything I've seen, it's all in the middle. Hahahahaha! It'd be wayyyyy more helpful if the tech said, "And here is where the placenta is." Hahahahahaha! You'd think I'd know more considering it's #4!!

@ShellyBean007: But I think even the yolk sac isn't indicative. All the reading I did says it's the location of the placenta. In my ultrasound photos, the baby is on the top right, yolk sac on the bottom right, and placenta forming on the top left.

From what I remember during the ultrasound when tech was looking at bloodflow, it was mostly in the middle, too. No real discernible way to tell if it was to the right or the left. The little blob below the embryo is its yolk sac and that looks to be in the middle also.

I have my first post-ultrasound appointment on 16 July so I'm thinking of asking my OB just for fun.

I thought it was the location of the placenta, not the baby? In my transvaginal ultrasound last week, baby was on the right but placenta was forming on the left. So by baby it's a girl, but by placenta it's a boy.

Thanks, gals! That's what I figured. My little jelly bean was a complete surprise so I'm not shocked he/she will keep his/her gender a secret until I'm 19 weeks. If only I could get my husband to agree to genetic testing... *ponders*

I've gotten three ultrasounds so far and have the exact same problem! Baby is squarely in the middle.

Ha! Yeah Ramzi won't work for you. I've never seen one so perfectly centered! Ramzi was right for me, the embryo was on the left side of a transvaginal ultrasound and it's a boy.

Does anyone *actually* understand the Ramzi's Method? I had a transvaginal ultrasound and can't figure this thing out. It looks to be smack dab in the middle. Ugh. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
