@LCTBQE: thanks! And that’s reassuring to hear! Mine always have had high heart rates overall (I don’t remember the very early ones), especially my first two kids. I think the third was more average, but honestly I don’t remember lol.

@LAZB: neither of my babes ever had a heart rate above 130, and usually they were between 110-120. I definitely had a few where they measured 105-110 range. I’m sure you know this but it varies a lot even in the same scan if they measure a few minutes apart. You’re okay!

@Kaohinani: @Sams Mom: thanks ladies, y’all are always great at the reassurance! It is so hard to remember, I can’t remember what mine was with any of my other three healthy pregnancies.

@rousseae: that’s awesome, thank you! I was hoping for the big jump from last week to this week, but maybe it will be next week. Congratulations on the twins!

At 7w with twin girls, baby A's HR was 116 (that was the first time we had the hb's measured). I worried too. The next week, A's HR was 174 and has consistently been ~180 since (currently 10w). I think the growth you saw is reassuring!

@LAZB: no experience, but with all my badgering of my obstetric care and friends in the field, the "number they like to see" cut off is actually not the very bottom of the range that allowable. It gives a little wiggle room.

I didn't have a scan until 8 weeks or maybe 7w5d? can't remember for sure... But I want to say my son's was like 118? Mom brain may not be 100% accurate though 3 years later

Hi, hun! All of those numbers sound GREAT! If I remember correctly, DD was approximately the same (115/116-ish HR) around my 8 week scan. I had the exact same fear ... which is why I remember this 10-1/2 years later! By my visit at 4 mos, her HR was up around 170! Needless to say, even for her anemic HR "start," my girl is a healthy and brilliant 5th grader who is driving me bananas while she is on her holiday break. 😉😂🤣 You and Baby Lazb should be fine. 🤞

Went in for an ultrasound today (7+1) and baby still has a heartbeat, yay! But I’m still nervous.
When I went last week baby was measuring one day behind (no big deal I know) and heart rate was 106.
This week baby is measuring one day ahead (so made up two days) and heart rate is 113.
Doc said everything is great and she just likes to see over 110, but it just seems low to me.
Just want some positive stories please!
