They definitely have similarities. I think the issue with the child who died is that their face got pressed against the side... Maybe the infant was not able to roll back over yet. I'm gLad they are recalling it. I'm curious what kind of repair kit they have come up with. Luckily I didn't start using it until my oldest was older. Maybe like 18+ months. I always thought it was warmer inside so I lways dressed him lighter when I used it. Now we have a Go Crib for my second to use instead of the pea pod plus.
