(I havent ever needed to do this but i think i have seen other people do it?) Im not sure if they all have this, but our infant seat had a bubble indicator that showed whether it was in the safe incline range. Maybe you could tilt it back a bit without having to have a seat that reclines further. Or, since lo is already 3 months, just switch to a convertable early? We've used it since LO was a newborn with both our big pram and our umbrella pram. She's 12.5 months now and we still use it all the time when we want her to sleep. I just think babies look so uncomfortable sitting up - I love being able to recline LO.
