My wedding ring has a warranty so Jareds jewelers will dip it for free and dip the engagement ring for $30. They said it takes 3 hours. Have been wearing the band for 1.5 yrs and the e-ring for almost 2 yrs, and they are starting to get a little discolored on the side that faces my palm. I have read that with white gold, you have to get the rhodium coating redone every so often and I'm wondering what that will entail...has anyone done this? How long did it take? How much did it cost? How long did you wear your rings before it became necessary?
