It's super comfy and it swivels and reclines almost flat, like a PP mentioned. I like the glider for the room but could have just used our lazyboy. I would use a $10 foot stool over the ottoman if it wasn't included with the chair we got (for less than you're going to spend on the ottoman!!!) Don't do it. It's not worth it. I have a child who likes frantic movements rather than smooth movements, too so that probably is a reason I don't use it much. I decided to use that in the nursery instead of getting the matching one, and I'm glad we didn't waste the money. I think we used it more in the early weeks when LO was sleeping on our chests a lot, but now we hardly use it. </p> <p>I also second making sure your glider is one you can get out of without assistance! I tried out every glider at Babies R Us to make sure I could get up without using the arms to prop me out. </p>
