No.</p> <p>The only people who can touch my belly are my husband and son (almost 4yo). They don't have to ask.</p> <p>My MIL tried to help herself during my pregnancy with my son. I was pretty shocked that she would not ask first and did not react very nicely. She really caught me off guard.</p> <p>I think it is extremely presumptuous to touch someone's belly without permission, regardless of what is in her uterus. I told her to stop but she continuously rubbed it anyway. After that I backed away but I was so huge that I lost my balance and fell backwards. It was so embarrassing! The same lady helped me up and without asking if I was OK she continuously rubbed by belly and kept rubbing rubbing and rubbing. Eventually more men and woman surrounded me and started rubbing my pregnant belly. After that I yelled at all of them really loud and they kept quiet and walked away. I liked to tell people that the baby was the size of a kiwi, and if they wanted to put their hand over the baby, it would have to be fairly far down my pants, and that instead they were just petting my small intestine.<br /> Once I really got big, and the baby was moving a lot, I didn't mind.
