The rest of the time is trickier - for casual it's usually my Cons (in black cherry), if I need to be a little dressier with jeans I have a pair of black leather Keds. Any time it’s not too cold for bare ankles, that’s what I’m most likely to put on. I work in a super casual work environment so they work as everyday shoes for me. So comfortable. I have the target knock-offs too but the bottoms wore down pretty quickly. I’ll find link they were recently on sale at Zappos.<br /> We got him a pair in December last year and they lasted up until a couple weeks ago. Honestly might have lasted longer but my husband took him to a playground and he splashed in puddles and he forgot to take them out of the plastic bag after for a few days 🙄</p> <p>So they lasted about 7months but that was with everyday wear including about a mile or two of walking every day (or scootering). We live in the city so we walk a TON. He has to have the little plastic lip or a bit of plastic coating that extends up. For some reason he must scrape his toes a lot (maybe scooter riding) and the mesh ones get holes after days! So we learned that lesson quickly.
