I'm way too chicken to set the carseat on the seating area. So instead I had to shove my groceries in the seating area and around the carseat, but whatevs, it worked.</p> <p>When she was a couple of months old I started using the Bjorn (I know, not a lot of fans of Bjorn on here, but we got a HOT PINK one on NBD for nothing and we loved it) and facing her in. Now I find it so much easier to put her in my beco carrier, and put my cart cover on the cart where my toddler sits. Charlie is a little colicky and usually cries the whole time no matter what! Otherwise we wouldn't have room for groceries or I would have to go shopping every other day. She has always been perfectly safe. Her seat doesn't even budge. Try all of your options and then do what you feel is best for you and your LO! Putting S up top works for us, and I feel 100% worry-free about it, but you have to figure out if it works for you!</p> <p>Now most of the time she just sits in the cart, but if she's sleepy I'll keep her in her car seat. When she was tiny she always slept through my grocery/shopping trips.
